::: Full of Love :::

The line outside of my closed door is getting longer.
I still love you.
Just no re-entry.
You're too late.
No room for the half-hearted.
You should of came on time,
or stayed when you were in.
The door is closed now.

I'm no longer open.

I'm at capacity.

-- Full of Love,  E.

Ode to the individuals.

Don't just go along, to get along.
Own your differences, and know you are not alone.
A like-mind may not be to your immediate left or even in your immediate future, but know they are out there.
Don't fold.
Stand tall in your right to be who you are. Stand tall in your truth.
Don't fold.
Instead of leaching onto trends to keep you relevant, challenge yourself to be inspired by your own heart.
Don't let your social media feed be the only thing you read. Research the authors to the quotes you repost.  Read their books. Study their stories.
Also, charge yourself to sit alone with yourself and your God and discern between your true self and what society says you are.
Don't be so easily persuaded by the masses.
Don't be afraid of your true yourself.
Embrace your true self,
and know you're not alone;

yet, special...

very, very special.

I Love You To Peace,

Journal Entry: Words

I wish I could put words on my feelings right now, but words don’t seem to do me any justice. As of lately, words just do not seem to suffice. Usually, if I write or talk long enough I can makes some sense out of whatever situation I’m in. But lately, words only take me in circles. This is forcing me to understand the timeless cliché “actions speak louder than words” on a whole nutha (yes, nutha) level.

As humans, we are naturally control freaks. We want to be in command over whatever or whoever comes, leaves, or stays in our lives. We want to be able to make sense out of everything, even when it doesn’t make sense. We want to control the pace of our life. Undoubtedly, we do hold a lot of power over how our lives are played out and we must recognize our power and know that our life is our responsibility. But, it is more important to know and connect with a higher power, who ultimately has the final say-so.

It’s not always necessary to talk your way out of problems. It’s okay to say, “I don’t know.” You can be the smartest person in the world, and still not know everything. It’s easier to quit trying to makes sense out of everything all the time, and take action by simply leaning on God’s understanding.

Words are beautiful. Words can heal, teach, express love and share stories. But, words don’t know it all.
I love you to peace,

Sunday Spirit: A Letter to Love

April 14, 2013

Thank you. I am grateful that although I don't know much, you do. I am grateful for your unfailing love. I am grateful that even when I make bad choices, you still set a path to my destiny. When I get lost, caught up in the world, and take my awareness away from us, you never stop loving me. You make every moment, every person, and everything have purpose. In the midst of my confusion about religion, you still love me. When I lack faith, you still love me. I pray and pray that I never take your love for granted. I pray I never take your grace for granted. I pray for all the layers that hold me back from love be peeled, so I can be everything love. To represent You. Your love is supernatural, unyielding, and enough. I want to carry your love and grace in my spirit everyday. Help me to be less human, and more spiritual. Use me as needed. Everything you created me to be, I am. Thank you for crafting me through the chaos. I don't understand so much right now, but I trust you.

I love you to peace,

Music Share: Banks

Sometime last year, I was watching a Victoria Secret commercial and they had this sexy, gritty song playing in the background. I didn't waste any time googling it and found out the name of the song was called Waiting Game by an up-and-coming artist named Banks. Six months later, the song still gets major play.

She's not commercial, but definitely not a secret. She went on tour with The Weeknd (which makes perfect sense once you hear her sound) and recently performed at Coachella. She has two EP's out and is set to drop her first album this summer.

Here are some of my favorites.

A Peace Of My heART: Untitled

I wish I could turn you inside out,
to see all the places inside your pride hides from me.
I want you bare.
Stripped of any expectation anyone has made for you.
I don't want you to have to pretend to be strong.
I don't want your mystery.
I'll love your misery.
I just want you.
All of you.

It's not fair for you to pick and choose what parts of you are capable of love.

I will love every vacant,
every sacred part of you.

Don't worry, baby.

No matter what
No matter what
No matter what

I will still love you.

I love you to peace,

His sister's keeper.

This is RP and I. It's safe to assume that I'm more than likely cracking a joke or ranting about something, and he's probably calming me down or matching my wit. Either way, this picture describes the essence of our friendship.

I'm not quite sure how I end up lucking up in the friend department, but I always seem to. I'm not really into superficial friendships, so i appreciate a  strong, genuine bond. It's a satisfying feeling to clearly know someone's purpose in your life. It's even better when they uphold their purpose to the T.

I called RP tonight. He was halfway asleep, so I offered to talk later; he insisted we talk tonight. I was relieved, because I needed to pick his brain.

We skipped small talk this time and I immediately asked, "How do I know when to draw the line between being humble and being prideful?"

He asked for examples, so I explained to him how I feel like I've been too humble and susceptible to other people's personalities and opinions to the point where it's making me question my own validity. I explained to him that I'm afraid that I'm becoming so gullible that I'm forgetting how to stand on my own foundation. I even admitted to struggling to express myself artistically. I have been writing a lot of poetry lately, but I'm so hesitant to share it.

"RP, when do stop being humble and start being proud?!"

He listened without interruption until I finished hashing it out. Then, he explained that if my core reason for being humble or prideful derived from fear then I should fight against it.

He asked. "Are you not sharing your art out of fear? Are you being so open to others people's opinions because you fear you're not confident in your own belief system?"

Ouch! Hearing the truth hurt. I had no choice but to bite my lip and be quiet. I knew (we knew) that fear was the root of it all.

He went on to encourage me to continue to work on bettering myself and to do the things that are becoming of the woman I was placed in this universe to be. He reminded me to take care of myself. He said when we take care of ourselves, we do everyone in our life a favor. Lastly, he assured me if I focus my energy on God and make that relationship my main priority, I wouldn't have much energy left to pay attention to these complex questions of mine.

I get it, RP. Boy, do I get it!

I love you to peace,

My truth. Your truth. Their truth. Our truth.

I was going through old journal entries and ran into this post. I wrote this last June when I was in New Mexico caring for my mother. I had no intentions on publishing this on here, because it's a sensitive subject for me. I've done a lot of spirtual maturing in the past couple of years, and I want to make a more conscious effort to document and share my maturation. Feel free to share your thoughts, I would love to hear your response.

June 2013
As a six month old vegetarian, I have a growing appreciation for all things raw. A friend told me that as I become accustomed to my vegetarian lifestyle, I would soon start to notice myself wanting to naturalize all aspects of my life. True enough, I have slowly started to notice my thumb turn greener.
Outside of my love for raw fruits and vegetables, I have an even stronger love for the raw truth. Over the past three years, I have developed an obsession with the truth. I still don’t quite understand it fully, but I have learned a lot about it. The dictionary describes truth to be something factual based on reality. Most religions base their absolute truth on their deity or God, claiming that their religion (truth) is the only way of life. Now, if I remove myself from any of my religious beliefs for the sake of a hypothetical situation, I would notice that there are a whole lot of different religions claiming they own the truth. Still from a hypothetical standpoint, I can recognize that’s a whole lot of versions of the truth- which, leads me to question someone’s validity. Someone, something, some religion has to be wrong, right? The absolute truth is final, unmatched and unduplicated. Right? So, this is where the whole ‘religion is division’ saying starts to make sense to me. All of these different religions are feuding over who owns the truth.
From my experience, any extreme or devout human who stands firmly behind his religious beliefs will not nudge at the thought of their being any other form of the truth except their own. They stand as soldiers for their beliefs, ready to point out excerpts from their truth book to prove that their way is the only way.
Most of the time, humans place a heavy load of pride in their religion. Eww, that pride word gives me the creeps. Mainly because it's my biggest nemisis. Nonetheless, the first sentence in this paragraph is a fact- based on my experience. To get to the point, pride may be the only reason that holds us back from seeing the universal way of religion. Maybe that is why religions are so divided? Maybe we should spend less time defending our religious title, and spend more time embracing in its’ love and goodness? What if we encouraged more than we compared? I know that may not make much sense, but it is the best way I can explain it.

I walk on my tip toes when dealing with any conversations about religion. Mainly, because I’m humbled by how much I don’t know about it. I will not discredit myself for the things I have learned about religion. My most invaluable life lessons are because of religious and spiritual encounters. I grew up as a kid riding the church bus by myself to Sunday school. I really experienced spirituality for myself as a college junior at a small Baptist church. I have grown to love the practice of Yoga and meditation. I didn’t grow up in a strict religious home. My mother instilled love in our family and we all found God through our own free will. My father, who did not live in our household, was an upright Muslim man. I spent two summers in a small Islamic country in Africa, where I met the most inwardly beautiful people in my life. I have several friends ranging from I-will-save-myself-for-marriage Christian girlfriends to male friends who choose science over religion. I love them equally. I choose not to announce my religious stance, only because I want to be loved by you despite my religious preference. So, love me as would your Christian sister, Muslim sister, Buddhist sister, or whoever you choose to worship’s sister. I am learning that the constant, common thread in all ways of life is love.
I don’t know who I am writing this to. I have a feeling it’s mostly for me. Honestly, I didn’t even plan on going this direction with this journal entry. All I know is, I got out of my mother’s bed at 1:30am because my mind was too busy to sleep. So, I got on computer and started typing.
I will conclude with saying this, by no means am I suggesting anyone to drop their religion and become a philosopher. In the name of Love, I say to stay true to your truth, whatever it may be. Continuously search for your truth.
If I could suggest one thing, it will be to challenge yourself to recognize your truth as simply ‘your truth’ and know that it doesn’t have to agree with your neighbor’s truth. To each its own. Believe in your truth, while respecting other’s truth.

14 Little Resolutions We Should All Make For The New Year

via thoughtcatalog.com

1. When you’re faced with an awkward situation, fight that natural instinct to look down at your phone.
2. Stop comparing your college degree, college debt, or salary to those of your peers. Their gauge of success is very different from yours.
3. Whenever you begin to gripe about work, just remember, this is what grown ups do, and more importantly, this is how grown ups keep learning.
4. Instead of rushing through things just to label them as finished, really take your time with them. Make sure it’s a job well done.
5. When you wake up in the morning, take a few minutes for yourself before you check Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and any other social media. It will still be there. It can wait.
6. Rather than being afraid that you’re missing something in your own life, try to be genuinely happy when the people you know share things in their lives that are going well.
7. Work towards finding peace in the fact that nobody has it together at 22, or 27, or even ever. We’re all trying to figure it out, and all trying to pretend like we know what we’re doing.
8. Instead of living in fear that you won’t fit some prescribed mold, embrace the fact that being different opens you up to different opportunities.
9. Don’t second-guess every decision you make. Learn to trust your instinct.
10. Worrying about the future is understandable, but try to take each day as it comes.
11. Remember all those times when your parents told you that you were special, and that you could be whatever you wanted when you grew up. Prove them right.
12. Instead of defaulting on your loans, use this year to create a plan to pay them off.
13. Live in the moment as often as you can. You’re still growing up. If you don’t have to do so quickly, don’t.
14. Sit with your unhappiness, however momentary, instead of fighting it. You don’t have to be happy all the time, and if you acknowledge the bad feelings with the good, chances are you’ll end up happier overall

Musing: A Peace of Eartha Kitt

Eartha Kitt is royal. There is something so untainted about American artist of color in the 1950's and 60's. At that time we didn't have a set culture, so artist could be true to themselves and their art without the pressure of conforming, and she did just that. Her career lasted over 60 years, she spoke four languages and sang in seven. I can stay up all night watching youtube videos of  Eartha Kitt's interviews, performances and episodes of Batman. Below is a clip of my favorite Eartha interview.

How great is her laugh? I love it. She is so original and so herself. This interview confirms my views on love and relationships.

Underneath the jump, I have written a personal response to the interview.

In relationships, I can tend be overprotective of my heart. I have no problem falling in love, staying in love is where I have trouble. I always come to a point in my relationships where I begin to feel like I'm cheating on myself, my true self. I have an overwhelming need to feel free. I know this. So, when my relationships come to the point where we begin to talk about the future, I get nervous. My idea of a love story is not as simple as meeting someone, then thinking oh, this person is decent enough to marry, then having a wedding, having babies and living happily everafter. (Or, until you have an Elizabeth Gilbert moment from Eat, Pray, Love and realize you have been playing a role that wasn't meant for you.) Not to say that traditional love stories aren't real, just saying they are not for everybody. Being that I am not that tradtional, I don't want to feel like I'm auditioning to be a wife everytime I date someone. I don't want to compromise or sacrifice my true self in order to be in love. Mainly, because I have worked hard to become who I am. Why should I have to compromise that? I don't want lose myself in a relationship. I've accidentally done that before and it's not rewarding.

I use to think that this mindset makes me too difficult to love and I would probably be single forever. I don't think that anymore, though. With the help of Mama Eartha and developing a solid relationship with my inner God, I know I will recieve the love that is meant for me.

Love is the most powerful thing in the universe. I have been blessed to be in love many times, and I have learned a lot from it. I love, love. I want love. I need it. I just don't want to have to compromise my dreams, or leave pieces of myself behind in order to be in love; and I would never ask my lover to do so. I think Eartha said it best when she said, "I fall in love with myself and I want to someone to share it with me. I want someone to share me with me."

A peace of Jhene Aiko.

Word to Jhene for repping for us emotional, easy to love & hard to keep ladies on her latest EP, Sail Out. I love her  new single, Bed Peace, featuring Childish Gambino. The video was inspired by late John Lennon's documentary, Bed In.

This is one of my favorite covers from her.

Beer floats. No root.

Not that I need another excuse to drink beer, but you may. Bartending off and on for the past couple of years, I have a growing appreciation for the world of beer. It's much larger than I thought. I'm a small town girl from New Mexico, I was satisfied with my bud light and corona... until, I got schooled by beer snobs. Now, I find myself picking up a different style of craft beer everytime I go to the liquor store, and sadly bud light doesn't taste as crisp and refresshing as it use to. My taste buds are growing up. :(

Here are a couple of unique beer recipes.

Now, for this fabulous frothy beer float! There are several ways to do this, and they are all equally as simple to make. Pictured below is raspberry lambic with vanilla ice cream. Blazing! Another popular mix is Guiness and vanilla ice cream. I found that if you add a little coke to this one, it gives it a much smoother taste. If you are feeling fancy, you can pair a chocolate stout with chocolate ice cream or a milk stout with your favorite ice cream! Hope you love it.

I posted a super easy beermosa recipe HERE.

A peace of my heart: A letter to my fellow Queens

Beautiful,

What if I told you that the Queen you have been working so hard to become is already you? Well, it’s true. She is you. What you have been searching frantically for has lied within you the entire time. There was never a need for you to convince people that you are a kind, by-the-book, smart, free-spirited person. No. There also wasn’t a need for you to deny the fact that you’re a sensitive, passive, and all over the place. Nope. There is no need to act like you don’t care, when you do. When we try to defend ourselves against ourselves it confuses the heart. It will build love barriers around your heart, making it hard to let love in or out. Listen, we have to accept that fact that we are love and love is us. We are sheep in a field of wolves. Lauryn Hill asked a great question, why be a hard rock when you really are a gem? Don’t confuse your meekness with weakness. You know you’re strong. You also know that you’re a woman, not a man. I don’t say that to set limitations on us. I said it to emphasize the fact that we are our own, unique species.

So, in acceptance to all of this… You are The Queen you have been searching for. Every beautiful thing you that you desire to be is you. Own it!

I love you to peace,

Ebony Ross

Rock on lil homies.

I discovered these rock stars on urbanbushbabes.com. (love that site btw) Anyways, these bad boys are dropping some jewels on our generic generation. They formed a heavy metal band named Unlocking the Truth, and I have to admit they are pretty bad ass. They opened my mind and I am totally inspired by their drive. Here's a 3 minute documentary on the duo.

my sanctuary.

Saturday night,

I recently took the risers off my bed. It makes me feel more grounded… closer to home.
My room is my sacred place. It’s a place I can call my own, and every corner of it is a reflection of me. It stores my most solitary memories.
I have an analogy that links my life and my room. Whenever my room is a mess and everything is scattered everywhere, it seems like it’s always so hard to find the thing I need the most. Isn’t that so much like life. Like, how do we expect to recognize God whenever we have so much clutter preventing us from seeing our blessings? A clean room equals a clean heart and mind. Maybe that’s why I frantically clean when I have a heavy heart. Makes sense to me.

I love my room. I love that my walls and I hold no secrets. They don’t care that I can’t sing or dance. They don’t mind me reading my poetry aloud, and they listen in on my most earnest prayers. They know me better than most friends. I’ve moved a lot in my life… from house to dorm to apartment to apartment from state to state, and I always cry when I have to say goodbye to an empty room. It’s that serious. lol. So serious that I daydream more about my dream house than my dream man. Haha, so sad. I never bring my laptop into my room. I only use my pen andmy journal. I took the television out too. I don’t know why. It just didn’tseem appropriate. I’m starting a new rule: phone goes in the living room when it’s time for bed. It probably sounds silly, but it’s necessary for me.

I appreciate the stillness that my room offers. I appreciate being able to step out of a good, hot shower to lay in my bed and be dried off by my ceiling fan. Sometimes, I stare at the dream catcher hanging from the strings of myceiling fan, wishing I remembered the dreams it has caught.

My favorite thing is probably my framed letter that mybrother wrote for me on Christmas. I read it all the time. I’m just grateful, man! :) I’m grateful to have a roof over my head and a bed to call home.

Check Yo'self.

"The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself. You are a representation of God. How you treat yourself is how you treat God. You have to be as good to you as you are to God in order to be service to the world. It's not selfish to put yourself first. Be as good as possible to yourself. Take care of yourself. Keep yourself whole and healthy. When you give to others to the degree that you sacrifice yourself, you make the receiver a thief."

Thank you Inyanla Vanzant for this inspiration.

I had to remind myself this morning. PUSH.

PUSH

If I wake up with a mouthful of air, I got to keep living. For as long as I’m breathing, I’m pushing.

I don’t want my precious life to be conquered by wasteful irrelevance. I would rather gear my energy towards my purpose. I have a divine purpose. Knowing that, I am responsible to seek God’s will on my life. Even if I’m unsure on what exactly I’m placed on Earth for, it is my duty to find my gifts, feed my gifts, & free my gifts to the world & while doing these things my purpose will be brought to surface.

Remember, the unexpected will always occur. Every emotion will play their part in my life. But, as long as I have breathe I have to challenge my strength and endure all of life’s doings.

In so little words, don’t get caught up in the immaterial things of life, instead live blissfully. Take advantage of every day that God grants you. Focus your heart & mind on all of the positive and inevitably the negative will become irrelevant.

With every day that God breathes into you, PUSH.

I love you to peace.

Spiritual maturation is a beautiful thing.

Trusting that who I am becoming is who God already said I am.

Peace Offering: Book Review, Letter to My Daughter by Maya Angelou

One of my favorite people in the whole universe is Maya Angelou. My love for her runs deep. She truly is a living legend. When I see her in interviews, read her books, and listen to lectures and poems... I literally get chills. She is nothing short of a grandmother to me. I love Ms. Angelou. I love her for fearlessly and so eloquently passing down her God-given inspiration and wisdom.

I had just returned from a two week impromptu trip from Boston, quit my second job, and was just dealing with some realities that were just plain-out overwhelming. I was having the hardest time falling asleep due to my mind being drenched with 'what if's' and 'why comes.' Luckily, I woke up the next morning to the presence of peace. I took full advantage and stayed cooped up in my house the entire day reading and journaling. Perfect mood to pull out my old faithful,  Letters to My Daughter by Maya Angelou.

Letter to My Daughter is a beautiful collection of 28 short essays and poems of invaluable lessons on life and love. I don't just read this book, I study it.  Excuse my dramaticness, but I think this book should be a requirement for everyone, both women and men. It is the perfect gift and a super easy read! I trust every word of it. Its hard for me to even explain its' power. So, if you want to grow, learn lessons of kindness, be inspired, feel united, and gain a better understanding of the human heart... read it!

I love you to peace.

reality check.

If you've been feeling irritated by someone in your life, you might choose to keep your distance from that person. But you need to consider the possibility that your irritation is coming from something you don't like about yourself, and that's something you can't escape. Instead of making excuses - such as attributing a personal flaw to the flaws of someone else - face what you don't like and change it.

unity.

Therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way. Romans 14:13

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

I solemnly swear.

I vow to not keep secrets from myself. In other words, I'm promising to be as open & honest as I possibly can with myself. I'm not a fan of secrets. A secret is a sister to deception. You would be amazed how secrets can easily turn into guilt and guilt turns into a facade... then, your stuck trying to be someone that your not. I'm learning that it's easier to be truthful to yourself. Then, it becomes easier to understand and accept others and the world starts to make more sense. At the end of the day, we're all out here just trying to figure it out.

Sunday Spirit.

I hope I'm not too late. I apologize for overlooking, resisting, or ignoring the blessings that you have set out before me. I need you to meet me where I am at. To open my eyes, ears, and most importantly, my heart to be available to Your call. I do not want to harp on the things I have not accomplished, yet to be overdosed with hope and faith that my best days are yet to come. I pray to release any unbelief that I may have. Help me to drown out the opinions of the world and to tune completely into my walk with You. I need You now more than ever. Help mold and perfect my character. I know with your love, nothing is impossible, and I will always rely on your promises. Thank you for your endless love. Thank you for the chance to get it right. I surrender myself to you... forever and always.

I love you to peace.

Up & Coming Artist: Slow-P

MEET SLOW-P
A man with a dream and the passion and talent to go get it. Without a shadow of a doubt, this Dallas native will put his stamp on the hip-hop game before it's all said and done. Mark my words. His art has a style to it that is unmatched. It's definitely hip-hop. It's definitely southern. But, he is definitely not a typical southern, hip-hop artist. If I tried to define his music, I would say it's Diverse, Deep and Dope! The triple D. How suiting? In all seriousness, this man has talent. I'm a fan. I have the privilege of knowing him on a personal level, and I can vouch along with anyone else who knows him that he is a stand up man who speaks the raw truth. They don't make too many like Slow-P. So, prepare your hearts to love him and prepare your ears to hear about him. He's on the rise.
photography by: Brandon "BC" Clemoens

First off, what inspires you to be an artist? What drives you?
My love for words and how they make me feel. I’m very passionate. I’m inspired by emotions, struggle, beauty and reality. My family drives me. Wanting to see them doing well drives me. My future children drives me. My future wife drives me. God drives me. I don’t wanna waste his talent and I want him to be glorified through my success. Cuz, I’m a product of God's work.

What are some projects you've done in the past?
I’ve done some mixtapes but the biggest thing I’ve done is the project with my brother PJ aka J Tru called “Slow P & P Funk Jr. Respect my Mind.”

As a young man growing up in Dallas, who you are some artist that you've been influenced by?
Growing up I was influenced by UGK, Master P, Pac, Bone Thugs and Harmony and believe it or not… Rakim & Jimi Hendrix.

To me, your music is in a different bracket than most Texas rappers. How would you describe your style of music?
I think my style is kinda throw back. My fondest memories are from my childhood. I’m kinda stuck in the 90’s-the golden era- that's when I discovered rap. So, I think me being raised by old folks (my daddy is 77years old) and always being 'round my older bro’s jammin what they jam makes my style “a lil throwback” but right on time.

What reactions or impressions do you hope to recieve from listeners?
"I hope they feel the way I felt about Pac, Pimp C, Bun B, Rakim and all the other influences I named earlier. I hope they feel like I care about them, like I’m giving them my all and putting my best foot forward. I hope they feel like I’m just like them, like I feel their pain and they feel mine. I hope they think I’m real and something special-that’s what I’m goin for…cuz that’s what it is!"

How do you feel about the stance of hip hop today?
I think hip hop is getting more lyrical. Lyrics kinda fell off for a while as far as being important to the new artists and fans but I think folkz are starting come wit it and fans are appreciating it

How do you plan on making your footprint in the hip hop game?
My plan is to be creative in as many areas of my career as possible. I think the best thing I can do is to keep growing as a person and as an artist. My subject matter will be my footprints in the game. To speak on something in a way that its never been said before or even to touch on a subject that has never been spoken on…that’s difficult with so much already having been said. I probably shouldn’t give my secrets away tho. lol.

Tell us something about you that we wouldn't expect?
I’ll give u two things…I used to go months without speaking to my family as a youngsta and I love disney movies to this day, lol..They helped me escape when I was little and they still do from time to time.

A lot of your music is geared toward women, what do you look for in a woman?
She gotta actively love the Lord. Like, be making moves towards trying to live for him and abiding by his commandments. I love that in a woman. I find that women that know the Word are so wise and phenomonal. But first things first, to be super real, looks come first cuz that’s what attract me to a woman to even find out if she loves the Lord. So she’s gotta have a pretty face and I like my women thick. I like all shapes and sizes but I like my southern bell to be thick with natural hair and a pretty smile. Not loud but not quiet. And strong enough to try to put me in my place when she thinks I’m out of line…that way I can respect her properly.

Your going to school full-time and you do your music full-time, how to balance the two?
I just do it and don’t think about it….just do it and get it in I guess.

What's your major? Why?
Sociology.  I have a love for people. I wanna see folks grow and do better. Sociology will allow me to do so. I’d be a counselor if rap don’t work. lol!
